The Symposium brings the latest research developments to young faculty members and graduate students in China, especially in the neighboring areas of Shanghai. In conjunction with the Symposium, we also offer a few tutorials on some of the most active research topics, including sparse representation, cloud computing, parallel and distributed optimization, and deep learning.
